Read the following recipe for fried chicken:
The eggs are beaten in a medium size bowl with water. Enough hot sauce should be added so the egg mixture is bright orange. The chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper. The seasoned chicken is dipped in the egg, and then is coated well in flour that has been combined with garlic powder in another bowl. The oil should be heated to 350 degrees in a pot, which should not be filled more than ½ full with oil.
Finally, the chicken is fried in the oil until brown and crisp.
