Symbols: Making/Supporting Inferences in The Bean Trees: Symbol (n.) Something that represents something else, especially a material object used to represent something invisible.  On your Day 13 Assignment Sheet, there is a chart that lists symbols in the novel The Bean Trees.   In the right column of the chart, write your inference about what the symbol means and explain why.
