Sample Opening Paragraph for Writing Assignment
"It's 7:25am and I'm sitting in the ISS or in-school suspension room. Located in the armpit of the building, the ISS room has no windows, nothing but pale flourescent light emanated from above. Oh, one other thing rains down on our heads, the harrassing, abusive voice of the manical ISS monitor, Mrs. Ruckus.
"You're MINE for the next 7 HOURS...You can do this the HARD way or the EASY way, but you WILL..."
She's tormenting everybody in the tiny shoebox room, which doesn't seem to have an air vent and the heat is already stifling. I'm sleepy.
"There's time enough for sleep in the GRAVE, my pretties. EYES FRONT!
Though this is my first time in ISS, I don't if I'm going to make it to 2:15pm. Anyway, let me explain how I ended up here...
