ANTIGONE by Sophocles

In this unit, you will be asked to consider the challenges of making moral decisions.  Undoubtedly, you have already been faced with many difficult choices in your life, and knowing what decision to make can be hard.  You want to make the right decision, but sometimes, you may not even be sure what that is.  In literature, conflicts often arise when characters are forced to choose between two different moral codes.   The readings in this unit will help you think about those decisions and perhaps guide you in decisions you have yet to face.
