Review items:
  1. How did you do with selection 1?

  2. How is your GoogleSite? Check your language one more time → have a friend look at your site. Does your language appeal to an audience?

  3. Look at the rubric again!

  4. Begin reviewing the grammar and revision rules you have been learning this quarter!

Strategy for review: Language Scavenger Hunt:

Use the articles or other texts you’ve used for this unit -- or anything from the course.

Then, search for the following:

  1. --three examples of subject-verb agreement where the subject and verb are separated by an interrupter.

  2. --three examples of effective use of the :

  3. --three examples of well-embedded quotations

  4. --three examples of sentences with multiple commas

  5. --definitions of literary terms; internet terms; news terms

The best way to review is through making quizzes for yourself or using some on quizlet. When you miss a question, try to figure out where you were confused.

Bring your points of confusion, questions, and examples to tomorrow’s review!
